With more than 20,000 alumni in Southern California, the LA Beaches Illini Club brings the Illinois spirit to Los Angeles. The club provides a way to meet fellow alums and stay connected to the Illinois network.

In 2011 along with our new website and new logo, plans are in the works for networking mixers, gamewatch events, a Big 10 Beer Pong Challenge with the other Big 10 schools, Dodgers-Cubs game and much more. Our new website is more user friendly than ever and members can post want ads and their own event announcements.  For example, if you happen to be in a play, you can post it here and invite members to come see the play and maybe offer a discount on tickets. I hope the site will be visited often and used as a vehicle to connect with other members.

If you would like to get involved with the club, I would welcome your input, suggestions and hands on help. Just contact me directly by email or at an event to chat about things.
